Pessimo servico.
Poor quality post service, I rented the car on Saturday 14/09 and delivered it on Monday 16/09, so far everything has been ok. It's been a few days and still no delivery of the shorts. My EUR200 remains captive in my account. In other words, I no longer have a car in use, everything is ok with the return, but without my money. I need to rent the car again this weekend and I don't have my money. Bad service.
Pessimo atendimento. Arrogancia desde o primeiro minuto, por parte da Sra. Marta. Pessimo, pessimo, pessimo.
Terrible service. Arrogance from the first minute, on the part of Ms. Marta. Bad, bad, bad.
I don't see what is the point of this store. They are no help and you might as well save on the rent of this place Avis because the call centre are more helpful than them. I picked up my car from Lisbon after a late flight for a 5 day holiday in Portugal. As soon as we picked it up and started our drive to Viseu, which is already a 2hr30 drive, warning lights appeared on the dash within 20 mins of being on the motorway. Drive system fault, contact workshop, limited drive performance. The car then went into limp mode. Already this isn't ideal at 11:45pm on a Friday night on the motorway with my whole family. We called Avis road side assistance who advised to drive carefully and that when we arrive at our destination we can then pop into the Avis store in Viseu who could help us in the morning but if matters got worse to give them a call and they will arrange roadside assistance. This 2hr30 drive then turned into 4hrs30 due to the warning message appearing every 10 minutes, especially when driving up hill. This was stressful to deal with after a long days work and a late flight. Coincidently staff don't wear their name badges like they do in Lisbon, but I guess I know why now. I spoke to a lady first and she actually heard me out in terms of what happened on the drive but then advised me she will need to pass me to her colleague who is more experienced 'technically'. I thought no worries. He was on the phone the whole time and not aware of my conversation with his team member prior so as I'm explaining what happened he cuts me off half way to ask about ad blue and if the levels are okay. I kept trying to finish explaining the car would go in to limp mode and electrical features would stop working like cruise control but he continues with his point about ad blue. Very condescending with his tone, little does he know I have over 10 yrs of experience in the car industry, including working in after sales. I know what ad blue is respectfully and I know cars are a lot more electrical hence why we have come in to advise you of our issue and what would be the solution if it got worse so that we can avoid the worst. We are a paying customer after all and expect peace of mind when renting, not a car with driving fault warnings constantly. To make matters worse, my parents then asked what if something worse happens and the car fully breaks down on the way back to the airport for our flight, he responded with 'that's why they advise you to be at the airport 2 hrs earlier'. Is he having a laugh?? I had to walk out because I couldn't take his attitude towards us anymore. He came outside with my family, after not being able to check the ad blue level, he then moved on to talking about cars being more electrical now and it could be anything and not to worry if the light is amber, only worry if it is red. Solid advice from your staff member when any type of warning light should be taken seriously to avoid red warning lights but hey. As my parents only wanted reassurance and what would be our options, he advised we would need to call the breakdown. I then asked what if it happens sooner, do you have a replacement or can you offer one. He repeated you have to call breakdown. I then asked has it happened before where you were able to help and change the car he then responded with 'I have more customers to attend to in the store' and the conversation finished there. He just wanted to move on from us. Not sure what he had against us. I didn't choose his profession so he should be committed to provide proper customer service to every customer. After all, that is the bare minimum expected when working in customer service. Honestly, I always believe that companies need to have that physical presence for people to turn to rather than always turning to online or on the phone. But what is the point if they aren't helpful. We was at the store at 10am. It is now 5:30pm and I'm currently in a taxi to Porto whilst the car is being towed as the faults took over the car and lost power Great first 24hrs back in my hometown
Poor service in terms of customer service, to the point of being unfriendly and even rude. As for the vehicles you have, pay attention to their general condition, as many may be putting the safety of the occupants at risk.
Rude people (older lady). Had problem with a car and was told to come to this place by avis support line to exchange for a safer car, only to find out they dont have cars to exchange and told me they are not a repair shop. Only after calling support and having them talk to them, they had cars to give. Dont waste your time going here
Great customer service!
WORST COMPANY THERE IS. I booked a car and an hour later I went to pick it up and the girl who helped me in Viseu said it wouldn't work because the debit card was in my husband's name as we have a joint account. I couldn't remove the car and they still charged me a fine of EUR65! The girl didn't tell me that I would have to cancel even though I wasn't able to pick up the car. When I booked it, it didn't say that the card couldn't belong to someone else. Only later in the email! SORRY A HORROR OF SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM
